Latent Effect on the Genin Earring

Hi. I was thinking about doing the BCNM to try for the Genin Earring or the Wyvern Earring. I know you need specific /subjobs to activate the Latent Effect, such as for the Genin you need to have /NIN.
But do you have to have /NIN sub each time you wear it to use the effect or is the /NIN just to activate it and from that point on you can wear it with whatever JOb/Subjob you want and be able to use the effect? Thanks.

You need to have /NIN as your CURRENT subjob for it to work.

I heard for wyvern earring latent u need /DRG to have it active...
