Not true sight. If a crab or other sound aggro mob nearby heard you, then he saw you. I've stood and looked into his face as he ran right through me, so I know he's not.

How about true sight Sneak then? I know I had Tonko up but not Sneak because I was looking for something to pull and there weren't any crabs in the area.

True Sight applies to both, it can smell and see you even if you have sneak and invis up

There is a big difference between True Sight and True Sneak. You can walk behind a true sight mob without getting aggro. But there is no way to pass a true sneak mob without aggroing it.
And to Guivre it is just a normal wyvern around lvl 82. It cannot hear you, but only see. You can use Hide and will lose aggro. When you have tonko/inv on, he will never see you.
In the case of OP, you likely got sound aggro from an undead or from a repop of a crab.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. This seems to be a perinnial question, but so far it doesn't seem that Guivre is indeed True Sight.
