Yeah, weird, seeing how the
recipe
calls for:
Iron Ingot x2
Bronze Ingot
But that's what I got when I was desynthing them in hopes to get materials back.

Ok, full details about desynthing these. I seriously got these while leveling off rods and desynthing them back for materials.
NQ: Bronze Ingot
HQ1: Bronze Ingot x2
HQ2: Iron Ingot
HQ3: Iron Ingot x2

Notaru problem-woblem! I'd suspect that the desynthing cap is also at Smithing 31. Dunno how to word it, but something along the lines of "you can't skill up taking it apart when you've already capped knowing how to make it in the first place." <(^ ^;)>
dunno of a situation where teh desynthing cap is over the making cap, either, so - *shrugs*
