I submitted this to feedback, but i'll also place it here.

I got this idea while looking around and some items and it hit me 'well when did that enter the game, how long have i been missing out on that shiny toy' I'm sure i'm not alone in that question.

Therefore I propose that items/quest/etc have an additional field on them stating something like 'added in patch on xxxxxxxx' which then links to the 'patch compiliation' page that we all know and love (i know whenever a new patch comes out I eagerly wait for somepage to complete that list).

Thanks for the feedback. While we probably won't be able to add info like that to each entity, it's usually fairly easy for players to get an idea from the overview of the Compilations of Info in the News Highlights. We'll try to make sure that the info listed there helps people who are looking for when certain items were added.
