I just wanted to point out that the Prelates/Flagelants/Assasins/Conductors that are underneath the trap door, near the G3 area, do not in fact drop keys. Based on the exp they were giving me at 75, they are higher level, and considering I was killing them consistently for a few days, and even managed to score 2 tornados, 1 Aero IV, and a Minuet IV scroll, without a single key drop, I am pretty certain they do not drop keys. However, when I returned and, having such a suspicion, started killing the same type of mobs up above, ouside of the brass door, I got the key not long after.

This is not concrete evidence, however for any future Coffer Key seekers, it might serve as good advice to stick to the mobs before the passworded trap door.

I've had the same experience, same with the Orcs near the Orc King in mCavern.

Thanks for the feedback, folks. There are actual level ranges that seem to be what controls which mobs drop keys; so two copies of the same mob could be different in whether or not they drop keys, based on their level. We'll see about getting that info into the database.
