Nihniknoovi : It's a pink bird NM, weird way to pop. At the bottom of some trees I found a "FallenEgg" - and examine it. Sometime it'll just say "there's a cracked egg" & then you have to wait 5 mins, and it repops somewhere else. When I was riding my chocobo around in latheine i found some in I6, L7, L10. It's just luck I guess, if you touch it, you may have the NM attack you, and that's when you engage. It drops a "Van Pendant" - def 3, crit hit from enemy -1%, lvl14 all jobs

Kreutzet : Birdy, drops the new high lvl beestinger :P "Sirroco Kukri" 21dmg 150 delay, big bird like Simurgh. in I-8 region.
