I was in Kazham today bummed over losing my Paragon of White Mage Excellence title because I bought a Mercenary Captain`s Scythe for a friend. I came on here to see where the NPC in kazham was to change my title and thought it`d be cool if the titles were listed on here.

Is it possible to put what titles [and maybe for how much gil] you can recieve from which Title Changing NPCs? That`d be sooo great. I understand might take awhile to get that information though ;; From the taru in kazham I could get Heir to the Great Fire and Gullible`s Travels for 600 gil, and King of the Opo-opos" for 800.

I agree. Also a search option for title's on mob search would be awesome. There are a lot of NM's in the datebase that don't have their title listed though such as V. Vivian (Vivisector).

Well, this little project ended up taking quite a while longer than I expected. I have a title guide made up, and have updated all the quests and NMs that were missing a title or had one that wasn't quite correct. The guide is currently just waiting on the missions, which hopefully will be going in this week (unless the patch is this week, and takes up all my time.)

The following titles are in the FFXI data files but don't seem to be assigned, as far as I can tell: Adamantking Killer, Banneret, Brown Mage Guinea Pig, Brown Magic By-Product, Giant Killer, Manifest Mauler, Matchmaker, Overlord Executioner, The Chebukkis' Worst Nightmare, Unquenchable Light. Any info about them would be appreciated, if anyone has seen them in the game; I believe that the ones which look like they should refer to an NM actually don't, since those NMs already have titles of their own. More than likely, those titles just aren't used (yet).

Likewise, if any quest or NM is still missing a title, let me know; all the ones that provide a title should have it listed. They will all be listed in the guide, which should go in shortly following the missions.

Adamantking Killer, Manifest Mauler, Overlord Executioner. sounds kinda like the beastmen kings: Za'Dha Admantking, Tee Xizu the Manifest and Overlord Bakodek... Maybe SE was gonna implement titles for those kings if you kill them a specific way, or something.

The titles you get are Adamantking Usurper, Deity Debunker, and Overlord Overthrower. My guess is these were alternate titles that they decided not to use but are still in the game data. you get them from kiling the 3 beastman king which u mentioned.
