Spirit Lantern Error

Spirit Lanterm BLM JSE from solo enm mine shaft description is wrong It does not add Elemental Magic +10, it increases spell dmg 15%. It increases my Thundaga3 MB's frm 1730 to 1950. Thundaga3 on Tiamat from 550 to 650 As for any elemental magic + skill, i highly doubt it as i still got bad resist on Tiamat. ------ this is CONFIRMED results.

Well 1730 x 1.15 = 1990 so it isn't 15%. However by those number it possibly could be Magic Attack Bonus + 15.

Thanks for the info and stats. That was a translation error on my part; the Japanese post regarding it had +10 Magic Attack Bonus, not Elemental Magic. (That's what I get for actually going by the description on the item...) The Spirit Lantern has been updated accordingly, for now. I don't know the generally accepted calculation for Magic Attack Bonus to magic damage; if further tests show it to be +15 or something else, it can be updated further.

1730 * .15 + 1730. Thats how i got the calculation of +15%

I didnt say Magatk bonus +15, i said total + 15%, like the elemental staff's

:( need to turn off the post moderation and let us edit post >.> I misread your post, i thought it said doesnt equal 1990 1950 wasnt the exact number i got, it was an estimate, it was roughly around there, and i remember being extremely close to 2k so it may of been 1990, im fairly sure its +15% dmg
