It's been nearly one year i'm playing FFXI, and it is useless to say how much Somepage helped me getting info for items, npc, quest, and so on...

Since the last update, i'm glad to see all npc's chat in french, so i don't have to make an effort to understand. But all items, quest, and everything are also translated, and it is a problem when you're looking for special quest item, or anything like that.

What i am about to submit, is something about translating items on somepage. I can provide many translations in french,but let me explain technically how i thought about this :

For example, when you search for an item, your search return a list of items, what about opening a second list below the first, with the result of search in french items ?

What i thought about database :
I suppose you have IDs for each item in your database, so i thought about creating a new table (let's call it fr_items) for french names and description, where id field is the same as in the existing table.

This can be useful in many ways : in a description item (or even in the list search result), there can be a link like [fr], which the result link is defined with a left join on the fr_items table (left join because i suppose that not all items will have their translation).

That's how i thought about all this. I hope my english is good enough for you to understand what i'm trying to explain ^^;

Of course, i'm not asking for an acess to your database, how could you trust someone you don't know at all? So i thought about a basic form, that could fill the french table items, quest, and all.
