The chocobo digging level information is wrong. It should go from level 0 to level 10. And the time after zone should decrease by 5 seconds every level. It works out such that when you first have 0 time between digs, you have a time after zone wait of 45.

The mysterious water crystals in Jugnar Forest appear when fog is out even if there isn't water weather. I think this also happens in Pashow Marshlands. Its possible that some other zones behave the same in fog.

Rolanberry Fields doesn't have any crystals during weather.

Buburimu and Bibiki have a selection of items that can only be dug up when you are close to the shore. I don't remember all of the items that behave that way, but pretty sure than Lugworms and Shall Shells do.

When digging for elemental ores, it only works for part of the Waxing Crescent period. I believe the last day with ores is at 21%.

Of course, some of this info might change due to today's patch.

We're not worried about the times as far as levels go, as many people have different opinions.

As far as the items in Bubu, I'm not sure that's entirely correct, I've frequently dug up both shall shells but most especially lugworms when entering from Tahrongi Canyon.

The water crystals I dig up in Jugner don't always seem to be precipitated by fog. I often wondered if perhaps it was due to all the lakes, but who knows.

My first ore I dug up at 28% (give or take 1%) waxing crescent, so we're not going to put any restrictions on the guide as far as that goes. I've heard of people digging them up later, though that is the latest I've dug up an ore (and in Ronfaure, no less).
