noct gloves subskill seemingly incorrect

Yeah, I submitted a report, but just thought i'd post here for all interested. The rather low listed leather subskill for this item seems to be wrong. I got 3 consecutive breaks on earth day, no support, lvl 9 leather.

Thanks for the info. That recipe has been updated, to reflect what is known specifically about it; the subskill is no doubt higher than what you were close to being able to hit.

I didn't realize a single post like that could change things on this forum so easily... Anyway, I hope you guys at FFXI somepage check this out, for anyone/everyone I know who's done Noct Gloves, nobody has ever gone beyond lvl 9 leathercraft with the synth. The only way to prove it's a higher sub than 9 is a screenshot of leathercraft increasing. Unless my friend was lying to me, he told me he HQed his first pair of Noct Gloves not long after reaching 9 leather. Confirmation of the cap is that everyone who's ever done it has capped at 9, once it's proven otherwise with a simple screenshot I think level 9 sub provides accurate and very useful information. I don't think this newbie crafter realizes that even at 100 woodworking, I don't consider it particularly strange to break lvl 2 arrowwood lumber 3 times in a row on windsday. I don't think this complaint merits a change in the ffxi.somepage database.

There was some other info elsewhere that the Leather subskill cap was at 11... but further investigation does seem to have that as too high.
It's put back to 9 again, pending further data.
