This synth is a possible bridge from my current smithing level to the nodowa stage that may actually net some gil. I've noticed that they're selling on the Siren server at a decent degree of profit, though they don't sell very often.

I'm wondering what they're used for to see if it's worth pursuing it as a levelling step or whether I should just crank a one or two out on occasion for gil.

Anyone have any experience with these? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cuer (or another admin), is there a list somewhere on somepage that lists what items are needed for what AF? I think if you just talk to the npc, he'll tell you whats needed for each job. Having the info here (instead of running to jeuno to check) would be useful though.
