Light Crystal Usage

For the last few weeks, a handfull of characters have been buying huge quantities of Light crystals on Unicorn on a daily basis, and have caused the prices to hang around 10-12k per stack/cluster. Anyone have any idea what the crystals are being used for now? This reminds me of the rusty cap synth of old.

their actualy used in alot of things, could be someone skilling smithing on a rusty, or someone in alch skillon holy water, or someone in wood at various levels fixing rods for skill/profit.

Don't forget that light crystals are used in gardening to obtain platinum nuggets ^^

that could be a big reason in and of itself
