You can take all cafts to lvl 60, but you can only get 40 lvls above 60 in all crafts put together. Once you get a craft to 99.6, your alchemy will decrease from 60.4 > 60 as whatever craft at 99.6 increases. So its always ok to change your craft.

When you get to the lvl 70 cap test with a craft you will be given the option to lower any other craft you may have over lvl 60. Well any that are above journeyman rank.

Yeah anytime you talk to the guildmaster he will ask you if you want to "chop off" all the extra levels you have above 60 in other crafts. If you want to avoid this, just look up what the exam item is on Mystery Tour, get it, then trade it to him without talking to him ^^

So you can have more than one craft at 100?

No, what he meant was that it prevents you from accidentally shooting yourself in the foot by reducing your subcraft (which may be past 60 for a good reason) down to 60.0 .

Strange... maybe I heard him wrong, I thought when he told me he asked if I wanted to cut off the craft at the guild I was at... I better read that more carefully because I do want to cap it. I just didn't feel like goin to the right guild to do it. lol now I have to read it right and figure out what it caps exactly, that craft of the guild that you're in, or all the other 60+ crafts
