I know that the Silica drops off teh Big Jaws in Phomiuna Aqueducts.

But I was wondering if it drops on any of the other Big Jaws in other zones. Can or does it drop off any of these?

I believe that these new ingredients will only drop off of mobs in Chains of Promathia zones, since the designers want to encourage people to be going into those zones. That said, there are reports of Silica also dropping off of the Makara in the Aqueducts as well. Has anyone seen it drop from them, or any other mobs?

Confirmed drop from the Crimson Knight Crabs in Misareaux Coast as well.

I went to Lufaise and the OP (Mightnightcalm) was there so I killed a couple crabs and got Silica and confirmed for myself, and then went to Miseraux to avoid competition. Killed 20 crabs for 2 Silica (/THF). Misareaux has 4 spawns over Lufaise's 3.

Also hearing that the Makaras in Misareaux drop as well, but haven't confirmed.

The Makara and Bigclaw in Misareaux drop it. There are tons of them out there.
