my guess is that it's Tavnazian Ram Meat not Tavnazian Sheep Meat. The ram meat is a new item and there really isnt tav sheep meat, only tav. sheep liver.

I just made 2 Adamantoise soups. I'm 100+2. I HQ'ed the first one, but might have just been lucky. I'm guessing its prolly a pretty high level synth. As you have up already, it can't be sold on AH, nor can the 2 new meats that are needed to craft it.

I find it a little odd that they only added one new food item and with non-AH'able items. I'm wondering if it's a trigger item for a new NM like some of the other new craftable items they added.

It talks about quadavs in the description...so maybe there's a new ??? to trade it to in Beadeaux or Qulun Dome. I havent eaten one yet...mainly b/c the Diatryma (sp?) Meat takes a quite a while to farm...and you need a 75ish xp pt to kill rams in Lufaise for the ram meat (but that one drops a long more often, although we had a thf in our pt).

If anyone finds any stats on the soup or if it actually is a trigger, please post here. ^^

Interesting info there; this definitely seems like an odd type of food item. Where did you get the Diatryma Meat? I assume this is from the Diatryma in Misareaux Coast, but wanted to verify that.

I'm back! OK mysterytour has up that you trade it to ??? in lufaise meadows to spawn the HNM named Kurrea that drops Galliard Trousers. I thought it was a trigger...fun they actually gave one to cooks. I wonder what the food affect actually is now...it looks like a regular usable item.
