ya, doubtful. The desynth for the threads is confirmed, however, there is a high fail rate for the desyth. Combine that with the Manteel being a high level Goldsmith synth my guess would be this will be much more than 8 million, probably 50+ million. Because they can. The cloths in that guys Bazaar alone are going for 20+ million.

[1] there is a 1/3 success rate on the desynthesis off the vir/femina subligar. [2] cashmere wool [from thread] has a 50% fail rate [3] sha`ir manteel itself has a 75% failure rate. one of my friend tried twice before finally desynthing one. But now all the rich people on our server is offering it to the rich bards. Only 2 bards have it from killing vrtra.

Actually, cashmere and sha'ir synthesis have normal failure rates. The desynthesis failure rate is 50% however.
