A full guide is now written up for the new ENM quests: Empty Notorious Monster Guide.

Feel free to discuss it here, and suggest anything that can be improved in it. We're still looking for some specific info, as well; any help providing this would be appreciated:

1) The name/description of the key items that aren't listed, that you receive when you finish the prerequisite steps.
2) Any more info about the starting steps, the NPCs involved, etc.
3) Can you do the CoP mission fight after you complete the ENM battle in Monarch Linn and Promyvion - Vahzl, like you can for the first three Promyvions? What about the prerequisite steps in Attohwa Chasm; can you do both the CoP mission and obtain the key item for the ENM at the same time, at the Cradle of Rebirth at the top of Parrademo Tor?

Enjoy!

Any idea if you have to be on or beyond the CoP mission that involves the ENM battlefield? I had gotten the key item for Bearclaw Peninsula and wasn't able to view the ENM name in the first zone I went to. All it would tell me is that the wind pillar was blocking my way. I didn't go farther than that one since it would become very dangerous to walk around beyond that point.

I believe you have to travel farther up the range to find the right entrance to Bearclaw. I tried Brothers tonight and my party entered at the top of the mountain behind the frozen waterfall by the King Buffalos past Jormungand.

You do not need to complete any of the COP missions to access the ENM's. The acception to this is those areas where you cannot gain access to.

The Ulegrand Range ENM fights have 4 entrances for each fight. The first wind vortex you can access does not have an associated ENM.

I have the florid stone for The Shrouded Maw ENM but the NPC won't accept it, is there a prerequisite that isn't mentioned, does anyone know?

I just found out about the requirement for The Shrouded Maw ENM last night myself, when trying to complete it with people who hadn't done many of the CoP missions. Apparently, you have to be on mission 3-5 (where you give one of the chips to Ghebi Damomohe to gain access into The Shrouded Maw) in order to even activate the ENM for that battlefield.

The way it's looking, all of the lower level capped ENMs require some CoP missions to activate (even the first three Promyvions are based on the starting cut-scenes of the missions). The ENMs that are level 75 don't require any mission work, but can be done by anyone who has the expansion installed.

The ENM Guide has been updated accordingly to reflect this.

From my personal experience, you have to have access to the area where the quest is taking part, or in other words, be at that point in your missions. 3 exemples:

The ENM30's : You have to have the Promyvions mission entirely flaged.

ENM40 in Monarch Linn : You need to have access to Riverne - Site #A01, in other word, you need Riverne A01 flaged.

ENM40 in Shrouded Maw : You already have access to Pso'Xja, but you still need to have Diabolos fight fully flaged to be able to do ENM in there...

No clue about other ENMs

I did the ENM at Monarch Linn the other day, and after we won we were still in Monarch Linn, so we could have gone on to the mission had we wanted to.

Could someone give me precise directions to the Chamneat Springs in Uleguerand Range. I looked for an hour but couldn't find it, running out of oils and prism I had to give up the search. Thank you in advance!

going counterclockwise...head to the top of thousandfall ridge in uleguerand range on the plateau behind jormungand. make sure you drop off the ridge facing WEST.
head to the most southern part of the west drop off (next to the hill outcropping. take a few steps over and drop down where the first bump goes out (about 5 steps'ish?)

you can walk side to side or slow down by walking against the hill...the idea is to follow the line down and a little right and aim for the part of the drop off that STICKS OUT THE MOST in that line you take. you can easily see it...aim for that little bump that sticks out the most.

study this photo...basically you take the redline down and hit that ledge...good luck
