Quote from: Penweaver Hello, here is what I have for it so far. I was able to unluck this with no real problem. I would suggest that if you do not have a job that is 70+ it would be wise to stock up on oils and powders. Also, just because of where you have to go, if you are interested in Corsair at all, you may want to knock both of these quests out at once. But either way, here goes! Walkthrough 1.) Talk to Shamarhaan at (F-9) in Bastok Markets near the fountain. 2.) Talk to Iruki-Waraki at (K-9) in Aht Urghan Whitegate (on the top floor). 3.) Talk to Ghatsad at (I-7) the Automaton Workshop (on the top floor). ***Note that the area you need to travel to Arrapago Reef is also the same area for unlocking Corsair. So you may want to start that quest as well: Luck of the Draw. If you need a map, check out http://ffxi-atlas.com/ 4.)Take the north dock ferry to Nashmau and go through North Gate to Caedarva Mire. Head NE for a bit, and then NW to the (I-6) zone to Arrapago Reef. ***Use caution around Imps as they have True Sight *** Beware of bug-like monsters called Chigoe. They do not show up on widescan and you cannot see their name until they aggro. You can see them though, they look like tiny frogs/bugs, however, you cannot select them until they aggro. They also aggro by sight. They hit hard, and they hit fast. 5.) Once in Arrapago Reef, find the ??? at (H-10) on the first boat, hidden beneath the stairs, to receive a key item: Antique Automaton. 6.) Return to Ghatsad (I-7) in Aht Urghan Whitegate. Talk to him to give him the Antique Automaton. Wait for the next game day and talk to him again. 7.) Return to Iruki-Waraki (K-9) to complete the quest. You will also be given a chance to pick your Automaton's name from a list. And then you are done :-) congrats! Btw - there are lots of puppet parts available from NPCs, so explore a bit before buying from the AH. Alot of the new items from the expansion are being hugely inflated on the AH. Good luck, Pen
