Apparently his NPC became a RDM when 'healer' was selected. NPC: meleed the mob, cast buffs on PC (Shell2 & Protect3[?]), healed the PC, debuffed the mob (Dia etc), performed WS when the PC performed one. This sounds like the best of both worlds to me, without that pesky "Provoke" being thrown in. I've dropped my pearl too many times so I need to raise my affinity with my NPC before I can switch jobs to do this & confirm it.[/quote]
