Maybe I am just blind but I have not been able to find much information on the Promyvion's.

Where can I go to get information on these quests (or whatever they are classified as) are there lvl caps? maps? and so forth.

Thanks

Hello,

The level Cap is 30. Here is an awesome guide: http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/index.php/Promyvion_Guide

I have done all three and have helped my link shell with lots of them. If you want some advice, here are my thoughts.

Make sure that everyone who needs to do the fight gets all 3 recollections to make them into Anima (the guide will explain what these are better) but in a nut shell, you enter the promy, kill mobs to get them to drop Recollections. There are 3 types of recollections, and all are rare exclusive. You take these to Jeueno and pay an NPC to turn them into Animas. Animas can then be used in the promy to do bad things to the mob. (I always keep three recollections and three anima in my mog house just in case).

For the farming run, I suggest taking a Black Mage with D2, and a White Mage of 36+. Farm until someone gets a recollection, D2, turn it into an anima, and have the whm tele you back home. Do this until everyone has all three. (everyone can come and go at once, but we kept up the rotation just so we didnt have to stop farming).

Once everyone is fully equipped, you can begin. Bascially, you make your way up several floors. To advance to higher floors you have to find, and fight, a Memory Recepticle.

I suggest taking a RNG. There are anima that make the mobs run around all willy nilly, and the rng and blm can keep up the dmg with it running around. If you go in with a party of 6 and everyone has 3 anima, you should be able to take it in a cake walk. Without the anima, it is a long, grueling, horrible fight.

The party that I went with that had the best success:

Whm/Sum
Blm/Whm
Pal/War
Mnk/War
Rng/Nin
Rdm/Whm

The BLM and RNG kept the damage up on the mob, rdm did the debuffs (I didnt see how effective this was, so keep an eye out) Whm kept everyone healed and used Summons as body guards for the mages, Pal and Mnk did the normal stuff (hold hate and hurt stuff). In lieu of a Mnk, almost any DD will work, I would probably suggest War/Nin or another Rng above all else.

Hope this helps.
