Here's the walkthrough:

1. Talk to Ambrosius. He tells you that he lost some mail around the entrance to Tahrongi Canyon, and asks you to retrieve it for him.
2. There are four pieces of mail you can turn in for this quest, and all of them drop off of rarabs. The Torn Epistle drops in West Sarutabaruta, the Muddy Bar Tab drops in East Sarutabaruta, and both the Odd Postcard and Damp Envelope drop in Tahrongi Canyon. The items are rare/ex, so you can only have one of each in your inventory at a time.
3. Return to Ambrosius and trade one or more of the mail items to him. The more you trade at once, the more gil you get.
