Bastok Fame

wat r some easy quests that i can do in Bastok to raise my fame alot? im tryin to do the Fear of Flying quest, but my fame isnt high enough ><

I did the Bubbly Bernie quest. I forgot the mane of it, but you use a Quus to call Bubble Bernie at the lighthouse in S. Gustaberg.
If you have warp, it is fairly quick. Run out, call him, kill him, warp back to Bastok Markets and drop it off. You also get 500 gil. That quest alone kept my blm set til level 30.

For a fasater way, get a partner that doesn't need the quest, have him kill Bernie as you wait outside the Bastok Market zone. Lot on the drop and run it in. Split the money as needed.

An easier, faster way is to spam Minesweeper. Not cost effective, but to many players it's worth the money to save you time/sanity. You turn in 3 Zeruhn Soot to galkan NPC in Bastok Mines by Zeruhn. On my server I did this with a mule and it took about 6-8 stacks at 10-12k/stack to reach level 3 fame. Cost me a chunk of money to do it but I was level 3 fame in 20 minutes and done with it.

I think you should do the easy quest. Its in Selbina. You trade 1 Boyhada Moss for 600gil. After you trade all of the Boyhada Moss in and get ur money back you go down about 3-4k a stack (on my server). This is the best way for bastok fame because it also gives sandy fame and jeuno fame. Jeuno fame is based off of your sandy and bastok fame. So you get 3 fame places with 1 quest where it is expensive, but you get lots of your money back when you do the quest. I think this quest is THE best for sandy/bastok/jeuno fame.

I have hero fame in bastok, I did all the small easy quest like sierns tear, and the dressing up ones, the shell bug ones to get the kid out of his shell, but the one I did the most was trade the quadav helms into the NPC, It's not that expensive if you pull a chain of Quadav's in palbourough mines, and get helms that way.

but I got lucky I had a guy that was selling helms by the 100's at LOWER than what the npc, so I actually made money getting max fame, I liked that alot. otherise if you get off AH you prolly lose like 200 gil per trade no biggie.
