It says my character is alreadylogged in

What do i do? When i try to log in it says "Your character is already logged in somewhere else" Try again in a few minutes, i just left my tv screen for a little bit, when i came back it said i timed out, so i tryed to re login and this is whats happening

SE has done a rather good security against ppl who'd try to just shut their PS2/computer when they are about to die; the caracter just stay there, standing, for 30 seconds, just as if you had done a regular logout.

Same thing happens if you time out; your caracter stays there for 30 seconds, and you can't log back in untill your caracter has been removed, which means about 30 seconds.

Just try again...

That safeguard has been there since the game came out. What he's talking about is something that started happening after the current patch, possibly a bug. I experienced this as well. I logged off my main character [properly, using logout], then tried to log onto my mule [who is attached to a different handle] and it gave me the "already logged in with this character" message. Made no sense whatsoever.

The only time I've ever gotten this message prior to the patch is when I didn't log out properly, or I got disconnected and tried to log back in too soon (onto the same character I DCed on). This thing with logging out properly and getting the message on a completely different character is new to the patch. He might not have experienced it with two separate character as I did, but the conditions that trigger the message have definitely changed for whatever reason.

I recieved this message a couple of times when logging out of one character and logging in with another under the same handle
