Odorous Knife - Latent Effect Help

I was bored today so I decided to farm the two items needed to synth a Odorous Knife; Magnolia Lumber and White Steel (bought Darksteel Ingot from the auction house.) To make the story short, my friend synthesized a Odorous Knife +1.

Here's my question: How or when does the latent effect activate? Odorous Knife +1 has a latent effect of 26DMG and with a delay of 190, that is not bad until you can use Harpe.

Any information on it's latent effect is kindly appreciated.

Odorous+1 is specialy to pop NM for nice BLM pendant. With +1 u have 100% drop. Nobody cares about using that knife.

I'm sorry but your post is the reason I stated Latent Effect help. I know its sole purpose is to spawn a NM in Temple of Ugaleipih. I also know that its a 100% drop rate if Odorous Knife +1 is used. Your last sentense is obviously false, otherwise, someone like me wouldn't create a thread asking for Odorous Knife Latent Effect help. I know a few others who would like to know as well. Thanks for posting but your post did not help. :P

The latent effect trigger is MP. It kicks on when you are at or below 50% of your maximum MP.

I just want clear up that the NM is in Pso'Xja not Temple of Ugaleipih.
