That depends entirely on which BCNM 30 you're doing. My BST is only level 20, so I can't speak from experience, but unless you have insane damage output, I would say no. I assume your strategy would be Call Pet, wait out timer, send pet to attack, then join the attack. Pet dies, call pet again. I don't believe any of the bcnm 30's have charmable monsters in them.

As a rule, a BCNM requires the number of people listed as the maximum allowed, in order to be easily completed. There are a few exceptions to this (most notably Treasure and Tribulations, where you can complete it without having to kill anything, if you get a lucky spawn) but none of them are the Level 30 BCNMs.

There are people who are skilled enough, and/or spend a lot of money on potions and such, to be able to take down these sort of things solo. A handful of higher level BCNMs can also be done with less than the maximum, if you have the exact perfect jobs/items. As a rule, though, you will want however many people are allowed to go, in order to complete them.

The Wings of Fury BCNM20 in Ghelsba is almost what you're after. It's possible to duo with another BST and can drop Astral Rings if you get lucky.
