EDIT: Removing this from a sticky; just make new topics instead of replying here, now.
Feedback can be left here regarding any monsters that aren't in our FFXI database, that are listed incorrectly or are missing information.

The description for Hoo Mjuu the Torrent [NM] spawns in Giddeus states that its special attack is Invinctible. This is not true. Hoo Mjuu the Torrent is a White Mage and his special ability is Benediction. It will use Benediction the 1st time his HP drop to 1/2 - 1/3.
And another correction about the spawn time: it spawns indeed usually within 1-2hrs but sometimes it can take even 6 hours like for me and my friend yesterday.
Comment: your stite is the best :)

Thanks for the feedback regarding Hoo Mjuu the Torrent; it has been fixed. Regarding the spawn times, we put in "approximately" in most spawn info because it seems many NMs are not reliable in how often they spawn. That info is usually more of a guideline than a hard and fast rule.

It could be possible that you missed the spawn, because I believe the spawn range has widened since the last FFXI Update. I could be wrong though, just a thought.

No. We were clearing the whole platau of anything that moves. There is no way we would miss the spawn. The average spawn time is 2 hrs. But you might get unlucky and have to wait 6 hrs. Sometimes it spawns within 40mins though.
Btw. the later update does not change anything about the spawn point. Mr. Torrent was always spawning in place of any Yaggudo anywhere at that platau as long as you kill the placeholders.

The NM Steam Cleaner's time has seemed to change according to most players. Usually people could spawn it within a couple hours, now there are reports of it not spawning for 12+ hours at the known locations. All SE has to say about this is that they changed the spawn times and locations of some of them. Do you guys have any info on the new way to spawn them or the new time it takes the mob to pop?

There has been a lot of discussion about the Steam Cleaner, and problems recently spawning it. Unfortunately I haven't found any definitive info about how to spawn it now, or whether it's even an official change or a bug; there has been conflicting information suggesting both. Once something concrete shows up, the database will certainly be updated to reflect it.

Looking briefly at the item page for Gold Beastcoins, I think there are a number of enemies missing from the lists of mobs that drop them and from which you can steal them. You can definitely steal them from Delta, Shore, Lagoon, and Coastal Sahagins in Sea Serpent Grotto; and Tonberry Stabbers, Maledictors, and Dismayers in Temple of Uggalepih.
Also, Tonberry Pursuers drop the coin.
I *think* I stole one from Sozu Rogberry in Temple of Uggalepih but I can't seem to find the screenshot. Can someone verify this?
I see Goblin Mercenaries listed as having gold coins stealable but I thought they had normal beastcoins as steal items. Can someone verify this too?
Last but not least, just some minor corrections on Sozu Rogberry: he's lotto on the single Tonberry Pursuer that is on G-8 on that map with the coffer mobs (there aren't multiple Pursuers there) and it's pure, untimed lotto. I've seen him pop back to back (16 minutes apart) and not pop for 12+ hours.

Just a helpful idea that would be a nice addition if you adding it to the monster database. Why not add info on what level a combat skill caps at for that specific monster, and also add the ideal level of your combat skill to start leveling it up with that monster.

I'll confirm that for you. No screenshot, but I stole a coin from him while I "stole" my claim :)

Thanks for all that info. It's all been updated in the database except for the Goblin Mercenaries. Those do show up as having Gold Beastcoins in some of the Japanese databases; I don't know if that's old info that was changed when the beastcoins were tweaked down a while back, or not. Any verification either way would be helpful.

I've been in Phomiuna Aqueducts quite a few times, and there are three things in mind:
1. Fomor Ninjas drop only Shakudo Ingots. Never got any Balloon Cloths over 20-30 kills, but got 6 Shakudo Ingots.
2. Fomor Thiefs don't drop either Shakudo Ingots or Balloon Cloths.
3. Fomor Rangers drop Balloon Cloths. Got 2 from one while camping for RNG Subligar.
You can go see for yourself, but I think Shakudo Ingots only drop off Fomor Ninjas in Phomiuna Aqueducts, and Balloon Cloths only drop of Fomor Rangers in Phomiuna Aqueducts.

The Big Jaws in Phomiuna Aqueducts are not aggro. Only the slime and taurus mobs aggro, plus the fomor if you've been killing them.

Thanks for the info on those quest items; the database has been updated. I have seen a Fomor Thief there drop the balloon, so that was kept, but otherwise it was updated accordingly. The drop rate on some of these seem to be really low, which makes it difficult to figure this out for certain.
The drops of these off the Fomor in Sacrarium has been updated as well, to a more accurate level.

suprised this wasnt noted
The Groundskeepers in RuAnn are sight aggro.
The ones in the walls with the blue lights will aggro, while the ones patrolling around will not.

Thanks for the info on the Groundskeepers. The database has been updated to reflect the Sight detection; since there's really no way to flag both aggro and non-aggro, they're all marked as being aggressive.

While on the topic of Groundskeepers, I'd like to note that during light weather the Groundskeepers in the walls with the blue aura around the Despot spawn have increased sight aggro range, meaning you need to be invisible when walking through the "gauntlet." I'm not sure whether light weather affects sight aggro range of other mobs, though.

Savanna rarab in East Sarutabaruta drops also a rare/ex item "Muddy bar tab" (got 1 yesterday accidentally). This item is used for a quest in Windurst Walls I believe for "The Postman Always K.O.s Twice".
The description on that item is: "
This paper appears to be a list of items consumed at a tavern. Smeared mud conceals part of the list.
