When I searched for some items (Wooden Arrow) its said that the standard Merchant Njoll at E-11 in Bastok Market sold them for 3-4 gil a piece. It also had a little note by it saying 2nd place. I was just wondering what that meant. I went to the merchant a few days ago and he was selling them as always. But today and yesterday (7/10/05 and 7/11/05) the icon for wooden arrow wasn't even there. Is there some sort of glitch or something else? I'm in the Gilgamesh world by the way.

Item sales from standard merchants are often based on the Conquest Ranking of the nation that the merchant is in. The Wooden Arrow is only for sale from Mjoll when his nation (Bastok) is in second place or higher in the ranking. Since that changes every week on Sunday, presumably Bastok moved to third place this week on your server.

You can read more about this in the Merchants Guide. We have all the NPC sales marked that are restriced by Conquest Ranking, to make it as easy as possible to find the info on them; you may want to try another merchant, if you can get to one that sells them on your server this week.
