homing ring use

my only question is how in the hell do you use the homing rings given by the moogle for the adventurer appreciation quest. ive done outpost deliveries before, so why cant i warp to an outpost?

I don't know how to use that ring. I didn't really bother on getting those rings.

but I do know certain reagions(outposts) do have a lvl restrictions. Though I can not remember off hand the outpost lvls for each one.

The ring is used to take you to a zones outpost IF you have done the supply run and IF your nation is in control. Basically if you own the dunes you enter use it and poof you are at the outpost, I am unsure if you must still meet the regions level requirement.

Quoting myself: small story

When I was trying to get a low lvl out to altepa, I think my char was lvl 25 at the time. I did not get a listing of that reagion so I could outpost warp out there. Our nation had control[Bastok](which makes it depend how much you will pay), I have done several supply runs there. And not long after that happend to me I found a site that listed each outpost and lvl requirements(don't know if it was true or not, or ffxi wasn't liking me again).

If I find out where I foudn out the site that listed it, I will post it here.

Tougher regions require higher job levels for access to telportation, although you can complete the supply Missions regardless of level.
