What is the Perpertual Hourglass for? I just recently got it and don't know what to do with it, thanks.

Perpetual Hourglass is the item used to enter Dynamis, however it can only be used for a maximum of 3 hours after the Master hourglass has been activated. Once the master glass is activated a time appears at the bottom of the item description-- when that time is reached the glass becomes worthless and you are booted from Dynamis. If the timer reads <Unknown --:--:--:----> then you have a glass that has already been used (i.e. worthless).

Yup the hourglass origionally costs 1 million gil from the NPC that sells useable ones. It will then allow you into Dynamis. Once its used it has no use and is 100% worthless so the high lvl players usually try and pawn them off on clueless lowbies/newbies for 10k or so in bazaar. In other words nobody sells a good one in bazaar so unless you paid 1 million you got screwed. Its junk so toss it and move on. I just hope for your sake you didn't pay too much....
