Unicorn Harness

Hey the recipe for this is incorrect I have had several ppl try to craft this and it doesn't work. Thanks Mike Deviant of Siren 73WAR/NIN

That is one recipe that is known to be incorrect; I've left it there for the time being, in hopes that someone will experiment with the base listed ingerdients to find the proper recipe.

The currently listed recipe for the Unicorn Harness is: Darksteel Chain, Gold Thread, Tiger Leather x2, Behemoth Leather x2, Unicorn Horn. This is a total of 7 ingredients, when most of the new JSE body pieces take 8 total ingredients. It seems possible (assuming this recipe is mainly accurate, but just missing some piece of info) that there is one more ingredient, missing from this list. For example, it may take 2 Unicorn Horn instead of just 1.

If some testing can be done like that, we may be able to figure out the recipe, since people haven't had much luck trying to get it from the Bonecrafting Guild NPCs. (An alternate theory is that perhaps Leathercraft is the main skill for this recipe, so the Leathercrafting Guild NPCs would give it out to highly skilled crafters.) If the recipe isn't figured out soon, I'll just remove the listing and wait for a new recipe to show up.

After doing some more digging, it doesn't look like even a variation of this recipe is accurate. The recipe has been removed; hopefully an accurate one will show up soon.

Yes I had a friend with Full Leathercraft check Recipe, it doesn't appear. I did also try adding subtracting things from recipe and no go.. SE shafted us! :D Added a second Unicorn horn.. etc but nothing at all.. The bonecrafter could only retrieve the recipes for the hands legs feet and head. I ended up crafting the Legs only.. and sold my other horn. 74WAR/NIN Siren

I harassed both the taru (near cap crafts) and the adv imagery mithra (skillup crafts) with 100 bone, and both of em repeatedly gave me dragon harness. I then harassed that other mithra, and she didnt give me any unicorn recipes. :(
