Crafting???

What would you recommend to be a good craft to start? I tried fishing but found it boring, I have gardening going but its slow but rewarding, but i want to do something while i wait that will bring in some extra money to provide for the Linkshell im in.

If you want a cheap craft try cooking, should take like a 1 mil or 2 mil to reach 100, but there is good money in it for those who are good with lots of ingredients that have prices that flux like crazy. Its not the best craft, but its good for all mages to take to 60 to make their own drinks or whatever for fights in low lvl areas like Valkrum.

If you want to throw millions upon millions in, do Goldsmithing, TONS of money in it if you are close to Lady Luck and have the skill to stay behind it and take very careful notes about what is the best way to HQ and make money. Very expensive and very risky.

The ideal craft is up to you, but those are the two extremes of crafting. It will take a long time to level it up, but I guess you seen that with fishing in a far more extreme sense. Though its probably a useless post cause only you can decide for yourself! :)

Thanks for the advice, i think i might try cooking as it seems useful to me as im a rdm/whm and leveling blm up as well

Goldsmithing will take approximately 175-200 million to get to 100 if your economy is like mine. I spent about 12 million worth getting to 65 and the last 35 is exponential loss. A single skillup in later lvls can lose 700k (or much more) and give NO skill. But ya im just venting cause i seem to be at a major roadblock in skilling up hehe. I can make decent gil but its not what i expected. Oh wells like was said do whatever ya please. Its your game, do what you like best.
