Magnolia Lumber drop from Gigas

Magnolia Lumber drop from any gigas in beaucidine got 3 so far

Are you sure this Magnolia and not Hickory? I can confirm that Magnolia drops from Cryptonberry Stalkers in Pso'xja as I have farmed 3 of them total now. I can also confirm that Hickory drops from Rime Gigas in Glacier.

It would be good to get more verified info on those drops, for sure. Presumably the Magnolia Lumber is dropped from more Cryptonberries in there, although that remains to be seen.

I have had to farm 3 Magnolia Lumbers now because I blew up the first synth and the 2nd set got stolen by a crafter ; ;

All 3 were obtained from the Cryptonberry Stalkers in the SW Pso'xja entrance. There were too weak to me at 75. I was also killing the other cryptonberry's in the room that included Harrier, Cutter, and some others I forgot the name. So it seems unlikely that the other cryptonberry's drop this.

Yes, I solo'd both the White Steel and Magnolia Lumber all 3 times as a 75 BLM/RDM. I didn't even have to sleep them, although I did cast Sleepga followed by Silence on the Ninja types. Also while farming I was bored and solo'd the dolls in Pso'xja that pop when you click the ??? in the room upstairs. Very very challenging fight lol.

actually the gargoyles were really easy. I soloed them at THF75/NIN37, unaware of it. as far as I know as a melee, one doll will be invunerable to melee attacks, while one will take damage. The worst part is they resist the drain from bloody bolts....9-18 drain. I got my Blue and Green Bracelet though XD

I can confirm that Magnolia Lumber drops from Cryptonberry Stalker in the uncapped area Pso'Xja Tower near the Rangemont Pass (SW-most tower), just got one there soloing as rdm/nin (They're low-end EP at 75). Also got the Ordrydite from the Cryptonberry Plaguer.

man, wheres the best place to farm the White Steel ??

places that I can confirm a Tonberry Stabber spawning are:
-one near Sozu (safest)
-one in the hallway NE of sozu (VERY dangerous)
-one where the ??? for ugg offering spawns (partially dangerous)
-one behind both doors of the room where manipulator spawns
-one near carby mitt NM

I just camped behind the manipulator room between carby mitt NM, but the stabbers are on a 17 min repop, and the drop rate isnt really that hot (0/16 or so now).

so yeah, where did you camp for your steel ?? -.-

I got my steel while helping a friend camp Sozu. That area is pretty popular with people hunting keys/tesimonies/Sozu, so it's usually a safer place. Plus there's a zone right there. Careful of the pots, though.

yeah, thats inarguably the safest place to fight em...but since everyone knows White Steel drops off the Stabbers, the sozu campers will claim em trying to make an extra buck.

14th drop so far, it drop from gigas. not sure about other monster. the hnm is easy if you kite it. both tonberry and shield nm are easy with 12 people and more ranger you have more easy the fight is. the tonberry nm have death spell. 1 hit K.O if you don't kite it. it have short range and long cast time.

Which Gigas, specifically? I spent an hour or so in the glacier killing all I could find and got no drops at all besides gil.

Yah what Gigas and Where? I have gotten drops from Stalkers in Pso'Xja. I got 3 sets of materials 2/3 knifes from that and 1/2 pendant from NM. WOO the pendant kicks ass! I see people selling them in bazzars (steel and lumber) for 100k. I would say 50k is more reasonable but anyways Have fun. oh oh and the NM is fun too. Dropped "The Scoll of Death" for me LOL JK, but imagine that in Ballista hehe

100k for steel imo is a good price unless I got ridiculously unlucky, I famed for like 5 hours with friends and got NONE.
