Confirmed that the Haunts in Kuftal Tunnel drop the Spectral Goldenrod, but still not sure what it is for. Just thought I would let you guys know where it comes from and see if anyone knew what it will be useful for. Thanks. Cyra from Slyph

Excellent info, thanks! That drop has been added to the Haunt, and will show up in the compilation of info on the next update.

I also recieved 3-4 goldenrods off of the haunts. They seem to be a fairly common drop. Maybe 1/3 to 1/5. What is strange is that someone bought one from my bazaar for 10k. I then asked him what it was for and he said {Synthesis}. So I asked him which recipe to which he did not reply. Apparently this is an ingredient for some recipe out there it seems...

This item and the crimson spectral wand and one other item forms an item called the "Haunted Muleta" its a high lvl clotcraft item.

you trade this to a ??? and Uleguerand (whatever) Range and it POPs a NM called "Guesh Urvan"
this NM drops the Toreador's Cape 100%. Back +4 enmity +9 evade

this is like a hakutaku fight.

This NM is tankable by "Ninja only" this NM hits about 1,000 a hit (including on a PLD) massive magic,sight,sound,true sight aggro enar this ???

It is also rumored that Spectral Crimson drops off the IT fomors in Misareaux Coast. I have not confirmed this though there is a topic about it on KI and many ppl there have said they obtained it off fomors.

IT Formor's are found in Lufaise Meadows around K-7, IF Fomors drop this, then i would suggest to give them a try. A party of 6 lvl 75 is required to bring them down. The area is also surrounded by Tavnazian Rams and Giant Birds, con VT-IT at lvl75 =/ scary area...
From my knowledge, the too weak ones in Misareaux Coast drop this too but its extremly rare, they are heavily camped by japanese players these days...

Has anyone actually seen this drop off of Fomors? I'm loathe to add drops that are based on third-hand knowledge, but it would be good to nail down all the drops.

lvl 99 clothcraft 60 woodworker just blew up all my cloths and the lumber. Either terrible luck or the caps may be incorrect?

if a lv99 cloth + 60 wood blew up your shit, its not level caps. its not gonna be 105 cloth + 70 wood. I blew up a scorp harness, twice, at 103+3 bone + 60 leather. it happens....

Well... I tried crafting the Muleta for a LS friend of mine the other day. I was at 15 Wood + 94(+3 equip/furnishing) Clothcraft with Woodworking Advanced Synthesis support. It blew up ;;;; I gained .2 woodworking from failing. So it should be under 5 from woodworking cap due to gaining from failures.

just got a Crimson off a fomor RDM in misareaux curious if one of the fomors near the Sacrarium entrance drop em as well.

I've hq'd 1 of 4 i've made. The clothcraft cap may be no higher than 68, and most likely is not higher than 88.

I can confirm PLD too thats 2 off RDM, 1 off PLD, none from the other jobs that spawn near riverne (DRK, THF, SMN, MNK, NIN, RNG)...been here for like 6 nightfalls lol

I'm curious where you got the clothcraft cap for this, Cuer. I've made 6 and HQ'd 2 of those; if it really is 81 cap, I'd be surprised at my luck, and pissed off at the same time too since this recipe has no HQ.
